Finally a robot that can look like a donkey and work like one too. It is a quadruped robot that according to Boston Dynamics, can carry a load of 340 lb and run 4mph.
So how can we use a robot that carries 340lb? First of all it is very obvious that it’s main usage would be in military. It can carry supplies in long and treacherous journeys (of course, in places where you can’t use cars);however, how about in everyday life?
Well, one place this can have significant use is in construction. Imagine a robot carrying a load of bricks to the second floor of your house. Also, imagine your movers be bunch of quadruped robots.
One bad thing about this robot, it is bug-ugly. This dog needs some grooming. When creating such powerful machines, why not make them aesthetically appealing?
Now that we have this robot mule, lets see how it will be used in the future. Hopefully, it is used in everyday lives not just in the military.
